Festival Fever!
Our fabulous community festival, I-Fest took place on Friday 8th July. The memories of this great evening will stay with us for a long time. We raised an incredible amount of just under £3000 to be split between student voice projects around school and our Tanzanian link partnership (the orphanage in Kisarawe desperately needs finishing!)
Thank you so much to everyone who came, helped, sang, ran in the colourful colour run and generally made it the best one ever! The money raised is phenomenal - but perhaps even more importantly, it's the opportunity for students, staff, families and the community to come together and have fun. School will never start and finish in the classroom - they are so much more than that. This event strengthens partnerships and embodies the very special place that is Imberhorne School, something that our retiring Headteacher, Mr Brown commented on as he gave his last public farewell. An emotional moment and opportunity for the community to thank him for all he has done at Imberhorne.
