A very impressive display from the Imberhorne year 7s who continue to develop. Ruck speed was good and the tackles strong, although we still need to work on our running lines and reading the game picture faster. What really impressed today was our commitment to defence; to keep the opposition from scoring, for a whole game, takes real physical and mental strength. The hard tackling was personified by James P who made hit, after hit, after hit, which is why he is my man of the match over the try scoring machine Seb M. James was single-handedly responsible for stopping at least 2 try scoring opportunities and his double hit at the end of the second half, in a game already won, showed his commitment to the team.
