Key Stage 4 GCSE Options & Application Process

We are committed to providing a broad and balanced curriculum as the basis for the well-rounded education that will enhance the future career, training and educational opportunities of Imberhorne students. The National Curriculum provides the framework for most courses in Years 10 and 11. Students maintain the study of a wide range of subjects but also, where appropriate, there are opportunities for some specialisation or access to additional support.

To help with the Options process we have the following key events coming up:

• January 19th - 30th - Information for students delivered in registration time by form tutors
• Wednesday 28th January - Year 9 Consultation Evening (online)
• Tuesday 10th February - Options Briefing and Subject Fair
• Tuesday 10th February - Online Options Forms available (after Options Fair)
• Friday 13th February - Deadline for Options choices

Year 9 Options Briefing & Subject Fair Evening

The Year 9 Options Briefing and Subject Fair Evening will take place on Tuesday 10th February and will be held at IMBERHORNE LANE, RH19 1QY. The event will start at 5.30pm and end at 7.30pm providing an opportunity to meet with subject teams to learn more about the GCSE courses and answer any questions.

There will be two 30-minute presentations at 5.45pm and 6.45pm where the Key Stage 4 Curriculum and GCSE Option Process will be explained in more detail. Please book your place https://buytickets.at/imberhorne/2033083
