Imberhorne Media Studies students celebrated their coursework achievements with a glamorous night at the Oscars on April 30th.  The group of Year 13 students were awarded miniature Oscars for outstanding achievement.  The big awards of the evening were the Best Coursework awards – male and female – and the award for Best Media Student.   There were eighteen awards presented on the evening for projects ranging from music videos to film trailers and documentary films.  The categories and nominations were announced two weeks before the event but the names of the winners were kept secret until revealed, in true Oscar style, with the words, ‘And the Oscar goes to..’
