It was a fantastic performance from our Imberhorne U12s in their game against Warden Park. The first half was evenly matched, with both teams creating chances and showing great teamwork, ending 0–0 at the break.
In the second half, Imberhorne really found their rhythm. Holly made several outstanding saves to keep Warden Park out, while the team linked up brilliantly going forward. Fran opened the scoring with a composed finish in a 1v1 with the keeper after some excellent pressing. The second goal came from more great team play, with Fran reacting quickly to slot home after the goalkeeper’s save fell kindly into her path.
Strong defending from Lottie helped secure a clean sheet and ensured Imberhorne finished 2–0 winners.
